How to Know if
He's the One

"Is he the one?" I hear this question with a lot of hope in it — and almost as much fear. Some people ask after three dates. Some after years of living together. Here's my honest answer: no card, no star and no psychic can stamp a man with "the one". But you can know a lot more than you think. You just have to look in a different place.

"The one" is a movie idea

We grew up on a story. Somewhere out there is a person made just for you, and when you meet him, you'll simply know. Bells, fireworks, the end.

It's a lovely story. It also puts huge pressure on real life. You stop looking at the man in front of you and start checking him against a script. Does he fit? Is this the feeling? Am I sure enough?

So let's change the question. Not "is he the one?", but "who am I when I'm with him?"

Butterflies or peace?

This part surprises a lot of people. That nervous excitement — waiting for his text, reading every emoji three times, flying one day and lost the next — we call it chemistry. Very often it isn't. It's an old feeling of not being loved enough, wearing a new face.

If the push and pull feels familiar, ask yourself where you first learned it.

Peace can feel boring at first, when you're used to storms. Give it a chance. Boring isn't the same as empty.

Can you be yourself?

Watch what you do around him. Do you edit your words before you speak? Do you hide the tired version of you, the sad one, the one with an opinion? Or can you just be there?

Then watch how you talk when it gets hard. Every couple argues. The question is how. Talking from the head is a trial: arguments, proof, who's right. Talking from the heart sounds like this: "I feel lonely when you're on your phone all evening." If you can say that — and he can hear it without turning it into a war — that's worth more than any butterfly.

Can tarot tell you?

People ask me to check it in the cards. I can look at the energy between you, where it's heading, what's blocking you. It's a forecast, not a verdict. That's useful. But I won't give you a guarantee with his name on it — and nobody honest will.

If someone sells you certainty about your soulmate, be careful. Your heart already knows a lot. My job is to help you hear it, not to decide for you.

So, is he?

Maybe the better word isn't "the one". Maybe it's "my one" — someone you keep choosing, with open eyes, on ordinary Tuesdays, not just on the days with fireworks.

You won't know it from a sign. You'll know it from how you feel in your own skin next to him. Calm. Seen. Yourself. That's it.
